Dolla Sapeta

b. New Brighton, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa, 1967

Mxolisi Dolla Sapeta is a painter and writer. He studied art through Intec College and at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University art school,  and is currently pursuing an MA in Creative writing at Rhodes University. His art speaks to issues of alienation and dehumanisation in the contemporary urban environment.
