Louise Almon

b. Port St. Johns, Eastern Cape, South Africa, 1958. Lives in Kalk Bay, Western Cape.

Louise Almon is a painter. She studied art at the Rhodes University Art School and the University of Cape Town, and was a founder member of the Imvaba Arts Association. Almon worked from the Lilian Road Studios in Fordsburg, Johannesburg, for 15 years, before relocating to the Western Cape. Her paintings are figurative, with realist and expressive qualities.
