2013: Hans Joerg Wyss Scholarship, offered yearly by the Ecole Cantonale D’art Du Valais to students from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South America

2012:  Giovanna Milner Scholarship, for outstanding work in Fine Art and History of Art. University of the Witwatersrand. Johannesburg

2011: Standard Bank Group African Art Prize, for best undergraduate essay in African Art Studies. University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg
