Yasmien Mackay

b. 1997, Durban, South Africa; lives in Durban.

Yasmien Mackay utilizes non-traditional media (digital photography/ video/ printing, and found objects/ installation) to explore and provoke responses to questions of patriarchy, culture, language and identity in contemporary society. A graduate of DUT, Mackay has been exhibiting her work since 2016.
