Towards a Peoples Culture Festival (1986)

Towards a Peoples Culture Festival: Arts Festival (12th -22nd of December 1986) was an Arts Festival that was banned by the apartheid government. Before it could take place, the security police arrived and it was prevented from taking place. However, the organisation of the festival lead to an increase in activity, organisations, activism and mobilisation.
